Compliance

Compliance you can trust.

Children's residential homes need staff who are safe, suitable and properly checked before they step onto shift. Valour provides agency staffing support with a strong focus on compliance, safeguarding and quality. Our workers are required to complete the relevant checks, provide key documentation and meet the standards expected when working with young people. We do things properly, because in children's residential care, cutting corners is not an option.

Quality agency staffing for children's residential homes across the North West.

Our mission

To raise the standard of agency staffing in children's residential care.

Valour exists to provide children's homes with reliable, compliant and genuinely engaged staff who understand the responsibility of working with young people.

We know providers need more than people who simply turn up. They need staff who use initiative, respect the home, follow safeguarding expectations and support young people properly.

Our mission is simple: to give providers staffing support they can trust.

Our values

Four standards behind every Valour shift.

Safeguarding first

The safety and wellbeing of young people is always the priority. Our staff are expected to follow safeguarding procedures, maintain professional boundaries and act responsibly at all times.

Compliance matters

We take staff checks seriously. DBS, right to work, training records, references and key documentation are part of our process before workers are offered suitable shifts.

Quality over numbers

We are not here to send unsuitable workers just to fill gaps. We focus on reliable, professional and engaged staff who can properly support the home.

Engagement and initiative

Agency staff should add value. We expect our workers to engage with young people, support the existing team and use initiative throughout the shift.

Safeguarding

The safety and wellbeing of young people is always the priority.

Valour provides staffing support to children's residential homes with a clear focus on safeguarding, suitability and compliance. Before workers are offered suitable shifts, we require key checks and documentation, including enhanced DBS information, right to work evidence, relevant training records, references and suitability screening.

Every worker representing Valour is expected to follow safeguarding procedures, maintain professional boundaries, communicate concerns appropriately and work in line with the standards of the home.

If you have a safeguarding or conduct concern regarding a Valour worker, please contact us immediately so the matter can be reviewed and appropriate action can be taken.
